Tower height

Due to factors such as the height of the inlet and the horizontal arrangement of the water collector, the total height of the counterflow tower is higher and the volume is larger.

Because the height of the packing is close to the height of the tower, the water collector does not occupy the height, so the total height of the cross-flow tower is low and the volume is small.

Water distribution system

The counterflow tower uses nozzle to distribute water, the requirements for the indenter are higher,and the nozzle is easy to block.

The cross-flow tower adopts a water-discharging system with gravity falling naturally. The water-dispersing holes are not easy to block, and the water distribution is uniform, which maximizes the performance of the filler.

Overhaul

The whole tower body of countercurrent tower is closed structure.Stop the machine when it is overhauled or routinely maintained.

The cross-flow tower is equipped with an access door, and there is maintenance space inside the tower, which can be used for maintenance and routine maintenance without stopping the equipment.

Wind resistance

Reverse flow of water and gas, coupled with water blocking the airflow, so the wind resistance is higher, the motor consumes more power

The cross flow tower is lower than the counterflow tower, and the height of the air inlet is the height of the packing, so the wind speed of the inlet is low, and the motor consumes less power.

Noise

There is a large distance between the counterflow tower packing and the lower water tank. When the water falls from the packing, the noise generated is relatively large.

There is a small part of the lower part of the cross-flow tower packing in the water, so that the water flows directly through the surface of the packing and falls directly into the water tank, so the noise is very low.

Water loss

Since the fan of the counterflow tower is located directly above the packing and the distance is relatively close, the amount of water floating is large.In addition, the splash loss of the water in the lower tank is very large, and it is easy to form a water mist around the cooling tower, which is easy to cause the reproduction of the Legionella flora.

The cross-flow tower fan is located in the middle of the cooling tower, and the packing is located on both sides, so the amount of floating water is small.

Modular

The counterflow tower unit has four sides of the wind, and the air inlet surface is reduced after the module combination, which affects the air intake.In order to meet the air volume requirements, the motor consumption will increase.

The cross flow tower is designed for modular design, single-body two-sided air intake.After the module is combined, there is no change in the air inlet surface, and the motor power consumption remains unchanged.
